New Odd-Even Traffic Rule Hurts Logistics Companies

Summary

The Jakarta administration will add more streets involved in the odd-even traffic rule for motor vehicles. The trial and socialization of the rule will start from the third week of August to early September 2019 before officially being implemented.

The additional roads are Jalan Gajah Mada-Hayam Wuruk-Majapahit in Central Jakarta, Jalan Sisingamangaraja-Panglima Polim-Fatmawati-TB Simatupang in South Jakarta, and Jalan D.I Panjaitan-Jendral A. Yani-Perintis Kemerdekaan-Pramuka in East Jakarta. The rule will be effective from 06:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 16:00 PM to 21.00 PM.
