Pakuwon Jati to Develop Projects in Bekasi

Summary

PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) plans to build a new project later this year in Bekasi, West Java, considering its land availability and access from Jakarta. Pakuwon Jati President Director Stefanus Ridwan said developers, particularly shopping center developers, are currently struggling to expand the project in Jakarta. Besides expensive land prices, developers also considered the return on investment.

The company would develop a mixed-use project consisting of a shopping mall twice the size of Gandaria City, two hotels, and four apartment towers. Stefanus said the 60,000 square meter project could run in Q4/2019 after the company obtained development permits. PWON eyed to complete the project within two years.
