WSBP’s Rough Path to Getting New Contract

PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) has received Rp 3.25 billion of a new contract, up 9.4 year-on-year. However, the annual contract realization is only 31.2 percent, far below the company’s target in 2019 at Rp 10.39 trillion. Waskita Beton Precast Secretary Siti Fathia Maisa Syafurah said the company had no turnkey project during the first half of 2019 and tended to focus on external projects outside of the toll development which leads to lower profit margin.

On the other hand, Waskita Beton Precast President Director Jarot Subana stated that the company aimed to expand to the external market and hoped to reach a 40 percent realization from the market outside of WSKT.
