NET TV Turmoil and Sunset in Television Business

NET TV became the center of attention after new that the Indonesian television network, which is funded by Indika Group, conducted massive lay-offs due to financial problems. The channel also saw its rating sagged into the bottom of the "standings" in the national television industry.

Although refuted the lay-offs rumors, NET TV management admitted that they are doing a reorganization. The TV broadcaster chief operating officer Azuan Syahril said there were efforts to rearrange employees’ positions. The management is inviting its staff to file resignation by offering compensation. Azuan admitted that 20 people had accepted this offer.
