BBRI-UMKM Relationship Works Wonders

Summary

PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) recorded Rp 16.16 trillion of consolidated net profit and Rp 57.35 trillion of interest income or up 8.20 percent and 12.04 percent year-on-year, respectively.

Bank BRI had distributed Rp 888.32 trillion worth of loans at the end of June 2019 or up 11.84 percent year-on-year. It is a significant increase over last year’s investments at Rp 794.30 trillion. Microloans contributed around 76.73 percent of loan distribution from the previous year’s Rp 602.72 trillion to Rp 681.50 trillion or up 13.07 percent year-on-year.
