ADHI to Involve More in Infrastructure Projects
PT Adhi Karya Tbk (EDHI) will develop the first phase of the inner-city toll road in Jakarta from Semanan to Pulogebang. The company penned the construction contract to develop the Semanan-Grogol segment. Adhi Karya Finance Director Entur Asnawi revealed that the company would partner with PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama Tbk and PT Wijaya Karya Tbk to complete the 9.50-kilometer toll road construction. Entus, reported by Bisnis, also stated that according to operational cooperation agreement (KSO), ADHI would only handle 30 percent of the total development for the B section.
The construction contract significantly lifts the company’s contract realization on the toll road sector. At the end of 2018, ADHI successfully landed a Rp 7.63 trillion toll construction project to develop Banda Aceh – Sigli road. The inner-city toll road projects are not new to the company as well since it has already started the construction project to develop A segment from Pulogebang to Sunter. In the section valued at Rp 2.47 trillion, ADHI, partnered with Jaya Konstruksi, has already been working on the project since 2017. Nevertheless, PT Jakarta Tollroad Development (JTD) will hold both Jakarta-based toll road concession right.
