Hermina Targets More Hospitals

PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) keeps expanding its hospital network. The company builds three new hospitals in Kendari, Pekanbaru, and Tangerang. It also acquires one more hospital in Pekalongan, Central Java.

HEAL expects to finish the construction of the three hospitals with a total of 4,000 beds in the third and fourth quarter of 2019. On the other hand, the company plans to convert the hospital in Pekalongan to the 50-bed, type-C hospital. During a public expose on Monday (8/19), HEAL Finance and Development Director Aristo Setiawidjaja said the hospital acquisition and construction were necessary to meet the company’s target to manage a total of 40 hospitals at the end of 2020.
