Developers Targets Millenials’ Property Investments
Millennials have become a new promising consumer class targeted by many sectors, especially property companies. Developers are targeting Millenials as potential buyers for an investment property.
The survey conducted by Bank Indonesia revealed that millennials' interest in property investment has been increasing. In July, around 24.29 percent of property investors were millennials, or up 22 percent year-on-year. This number was more significant than the number of gold investors at 18.38 percent and time-deposit owners at 3.86 percent, even though way below stock or mutual fund investors at 43.93 percent.
