RALS Adds Cinemas to Stores

PT Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk (RALS) is trying to attract more customers by collaborating with various tenants; one of them is Cinema XXI. The company plans to open 26 cinemas in its different stores. Ramayana Lestari Santosa Corporate Secretary Setyadi Surya revealed that there are around 16 cinemas which operate in the company’s stores.

Cinema XXI has already signed the contract to open cinemas in a total of 33 Ramayana stores and plan to open seven remaining cinemas in 2010. It means that the company has opened more than 50 percent of agreed cinemas in Ramayana’s stores. Nevertheless, the total of Ramayana’s stores, including in the Jakarta Inti Land (JIL), were around 65 stores.
