WIKA Inks US$ 450 Million Business Deals with African Countries

Summary

Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) or Indonesia Eximbank, PT Wijaya Karya Tbk, and several African countries signed business agreements with a total value of US$ 640 million during the 2019 Indonesia-Africa Infrastructure Dialogue (IAID) in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Tuesday (20/8). LPEI and Wijaya Karya sealed a framework agreement with the Senegal government and Agence de gestion du Patrimoine bati de l'Eat for the development of Goree Tower mixed-use complex worth US$ 250 million.

Both SOEs also signed a framework agreement with the Côte d'Ivoire Government for the construction of 1,500 social housing units and 18,500 apartment units with values reaching US$ 200 million. Additionally, LPEI and WIKA stock-coded company secured a similar agreement with Zanzibar Utilities Regulatory Authority to develop bulk liquid terminal port valuing US$ 190 million in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
