PBRX Aims 28.8% Increase of Production Capacity

PT Pan Brothers Tbk (PBRX) plans to increase the production capacity from 90 million to 116 million apparel equivalent to polo shirts at the end of 2019 or up 28.8 percent year-on-year following the completion of two factories in Tasikmalaya. Pan Brothers Corporate Secretary Iswar Deni, revealed in the company’s information disclosure on Thursday (8/22) that the company had allocated funds to facilitate the second phase of factory construction in Tasikmalaya and to develop automation and digitalization.

The apparel company expects the collective production capacity will reach 130 million apparels equivalent to polo shirts in 2021 and consequently delays the factory expansion managed by PT Eco Smart Garment Indonesia and intended to add the production capacity. In exchange, the company using PBRX stock ticker increases the capacity through automation and digitalization. The supplier of Uniqlo, Adidas, and The North Face also tries to improve worker’s abilities in every aspect.
