The Government to Inject More Money to SOEs
The government will keep funding several state-owned enterprises (SOEs) through the state capital injection (PMN). PMN allows the government to allocate Rp 17.7 trillion to eight state-owned enterprises. The money will hopefully accelerate infrastructure development such as transportation, housing, clean water and sanitation, as well as energy independence development.
The eight recipients are PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial, PT Hutama Karya (HK), PT Bahana Pembinaan Usaha Indonesia (BPUI), PT Geo Dipa Energi, PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM), PT Pengembangan Armada Niaga Nasional (PANN), and Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia (LPEI).
