Tinkering with the New Ministry Organizational Structure

President Joko Widodo continues to arrange the new 2019-2024 cabinet. Not only sorting out those who will sit as ministers, but Jokowi apparently will also change the structure of several ministries and state institutions.

The Trade Ministry, for example, is planned to be split and merged into other ministries. The Directorate General of Foreign Trade in this ministry will be merged into the Foreign Affairs Ministry and will be transformed into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. The other part that manages domestic trade will be Integrated with the Industry Ministry and will become the Ministry of Industry and Domestic Trade.
