AKRA to Add 20 Gas Stations
PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) is set to build 20 gas stations until the end of the year. The company currently owns ten gas stations in Jabodetabek and Surabaya. Partnered with BP, the company formed PT Aneka Petroindo Raya, a sub-holding company handling the gas station construction. The sub-holding will build 350 more gas stations until 2028.
On the other hand, AKRA will venture to jet fuel business, supplying the western Indonesia area. The business is under the care of AKRA’s other sub-holding, PT Dirgantara Petroindo Raya. AKRA soft-launched the jet fuel business at Morowali Airport, Central Sulawesi, last month. In the next few years, the sub-holding will expand the business to Javanese market.
