Amazon is reportedly approaching Gojek to inject capital. According to Bloomberg source who requested anonymity, the US e-commerce giant is one of the companies being persuaded to take part in a funding round for the ride-hailing company.

Negotiations between Amazon and Gojek are still in the initial stages. Thus, there are many possible outcomes. If it reaches an agreement, Amazon’s investment can help Gojek and solidify the entry of Jeff Bezos’ e-commerce giant into Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
