Danamon and BNP to Fully Merge
On Monday (9/2), Bank Danamon announced on the bank’s website that Bank Danamon and Bank Nusantara Parahyangan (BNP) had finalized the operational merger. As a result, BNP’s clients could use Bank Danamon’s various products, consisting of 464 branch offices and 1,400 ATMs and access to more than 60,000 ATMs in the partnership with ATM Bersama, PRIMA, and Alto available in 34 provinces. The clients could also use every digital banking facility provided by Bank Danamon.
The merger, officially effective on May 1, 2019, shows Bank Danamon’s ambition to be one of the most respectable financial institutions in Indonesia. As the consequence of the merger, Bank Danamon’s assets have multiplied from Rp 188,76 trillion to Rp 197.28 trillion, while its liabilities have grown from Rp 147 trillion to Rp 154,7 trillion.
