ACES to Strengthen Networks in Sumatra

This year, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) is set to open 20 new stores across the country. Up until August 2019, the retailer, widely known to sell various home and lifestyle supplies, has opened ten new ACE Hardware stores; three of them are in Sumatra. The branches in Sumatra are part of company’s plan to strengthen the networks and chain of supply on the island.

ACES currently operates 176 ACE Hardware stores, including the small-sized stores named ACE Express, and 39 Toys stores selling various kid toys. The company divides the products into three categories: home improvement, lifestyle, and toys. The home improvement products significantly contribute Rp 2.06 trillion worth of sales or 52.96 percent of Rp 3.89 trillion worth of ACES’ total sales in the first half of 2019.
