ASSA Seeks Market Expansion to Kalimantan

PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) plans a fleet expansion in East Kalimantan to capture vehicle rental business potentials in the newly-relocated capital city. ASSA Corporate Secretary Hindra Tanujaya said the company would add 255 new cars this year. "We expect to increase [the fleets] by 15 percent in 2019, with Rp 60 billion worth of investment," he said as quoted by bisnis.com.

He explained the company already has 1,700 vehicles operating in Kalimantan, with contributions from Balikpapan, Banjarmasin as well as sub-branch areas in Pontianak and Satui reached 10 percent of the company's revenue.
