INAF Introduces Korean Electromedical Equipments to Indonesian Market
PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) recently signed an MoU with a South Korean-based company, Korean Medical Devices Support Center (KMD Indonesia). Both companies agree to produce, assemble, distribute, and sell electromedical equipment in Indonesia such as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy, deep vein thrombosis preventer, breast cancer biopsy, medical physiotherapy rehabilitation exercise, anti-aging injector filling, and body composition analyzer (body-impedance analysis).
Indofarma Finance Director Herry Triyatno revealed that, according to the agreement, the company was ready to introduce the equipment in Indonesian market at the beginning of 2020 and expected a good reception from the market. “Indofarma is expecting the sales (of medical equipment) to grow to Rp 90 billion or ten times more than the previous year,” Herry said, as quoted by kontan.co.id, Tuesday (9/10). Herry also stated that collaborative marketing will start in October 2019, and will be followed by product pipelines in the next month.
