ERAA Looks for More IoT-Based Partnerships
PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) is looking for business partners who produce state-of-the-art equipment based on internet of things (IoT) and lifestyle. ERAA not only focuses on distributing cellular phones but also plan to sell wearable devices. In the last three years, the company has been actively collaborating with technology-based or IoT-based business partners. Recently, ERAA is working with Phillips to distribute smart lamps.
However, Erajaya will distribute the majority of IoT and lifestyle technology products through Urban Republic and Smart Home. In the stores, Erajaya also sells various segmented products such as smartwatches, gimbals, action cams, drones, etc. Different from other Erajaya’s stores, the IoT and lifestyle technology stores will focus on non-gadget products. Urban Republic, for example, 80 percent of the products offered will be IoT-related, while gadgets products will only occupy around 20 percent.
