Swapping Supports for MD3 and KPK Law Revisions

The House of Representatives (DPR) officially approved the revision of Law No. 17/2014 on the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), DPR, Regional Representative Council (DPD), and Regional House of Representative (DPRD), known as the MD3 Law, Monday (16/9).

The revision resulted in new provisions, one of which sets the addition of MPR leaders to 10 people, by the number of factions or parties. According to DPR Legislative Body (Baleg) Chairman Totok Daryanto, this provision is the result of an agreement between the DPR and the government. Today, it is the revision of the KPK Law which was passed by the DPR.
