Mitsubishi to Establish Xpander Production Base in Vietnam

Japanese vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) set to manufacture Mitsubishi Xpander in Vietnam after previously established the popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) production base in Indonesia.

According to the company's website, MMC Chairman Osamu Masuko stated the company’s intention to continue the development of automotive business in Vietnam, including to support employment, human resource development, and technology transfer. Before building the assembly facility, MMC imported Xpander to Vietnam from Indonesia.
