Two Airlines Leave Kertajati Airport

Summary

Several airlines are leaving Kertajati Airport, Majalengka, West Java, due to limited road access to the airport, making it difficult for passengers to access the international airport, thus lowering airline efficiency.

Garuda Indonesia and its subsidiary, Citilink, had stopped operations in Kertajati. PT Bandarudara Internasional Jawa Barat (BIJB) admitted the departure of both airlines was due to commercial considerations. Garuda operated the Kertajati-Denpasar route, while Citilink had five courses from Kertajati including Bali, Pontianak, and Balikpapan.
