AIA to Invest in Gojek

PT AIA Financial (AIA Indonesia) on Wednesday (9/18) announced its plan to invest in Gojek through the Series F funding round. However, neither AIA nor Gojek disclosed the investment value. “Many world-class companies, committing to improving society, have joined Gojek through the Series F funding round. Now, the support of AIA Indonesia will strengthen Gojek’s commitment to bring more positive change to the society,” Kevin Aluwi stated in a written statement.

Through the Series F funding round, AIA is creating a strategic partnership with Gojek. The insurance company will be an essential element in Gojek’s financial service strategy. AIA will provide the solution about life and healthcare insurances, and other wellness products for Gojek’s users, drivers, as well as merchant partners all across Indonesia in the future. Gojek and AIA will join their forces to create and develop the wellness offer from AIA Group in Gojek’s ecosystem and hopefully help Indonesian citizens to live healthier, longer, and better.
