Krida Bangun Persada to Develop Capsule Hotel

PT Krida Bangun Persada, the Rest Area 72 operator at Tol Cikampek, intends to develop a hotel with bed-sized rooms, commonly called capsules, within its area. By resting in the hotel, the company wants every driver coming to Rest Area 72 to feel comfortable and refreshed. From 13 hectares of lands managed by Krida Bangun in total, only 6 hectares that are functional. It means that there are plenty of rooms available to develop some buildings and properties.

The chairman of Krida Bangun, as quoted by Kontan, revealed that business opportunities in Rest Area 72 was getting better following the finalization of the Jakarta-Cikampek II elevated toll road construction. The position of Rest Area 72 was very strategic, not far from the end of the toll road coming out of Jakarta. The chairman’s assessment on the prospect of the area was not without a thorough calculation since the expected volume of the vehicle using the toll could reach 125,000 units per day.
