PJAA Receives Rp 300 Million Loans from Bank DKI

Summary

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) obtained a loan from Bank DKI amounting to Rp 300 billion. As quoted from Kontan, PPAJ Corporate Secretary Division Head Agung Praptono said the company will use the loan for capital expenditure (Capex) and operational expenditure (Opex) for the rest of the year to finance the new Haunted Coaster ride project at Dunia Fantasi, Ancol Bird Park, as well as to revitalize the Putri Duyung resort and design a floating mosque.

As of June 2019, PJAA's revenue from Ancol entrance tickets, excluding attraction entrance, fell 8.06 percent to Rp 148.19 billion from Rp 161.19 billion in the same period of 2018. Agung said the lower gate ticket revenue was the effect of tsunami threats in late 2018 which caused tourists to stay away from beach attractions, including Ancol. PJAA expects to attract more visitors with the new attractions, especially at the end of the year.
