Summary

The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministry and National Land Agency Head (ATR/BPN) is set to reduce and exempt permits that have been hampering property industry development, such as Building Construction Permit (IMB). The Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister Sofyan Djalil said IMB had been misused to commit unheeded violations.

Additionally, the government also provides concessions for property progressive tax which had been burdening developers. Even so, the land law must prevent land speculators as currently, the government is aggressively registering lands in Indonesia.
