DFAM Enters Two-Star Hotel Business

PT Dafam Property Indonesia Tbk (DFAM), through its subsidiary PT Dafam Hotel Management, entered the two-star hotel business. They officially operate the two-star hotel Dafam Express in Jaksa Street, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (9/19). This 104-room hotel is the result of collaboration with PT MD Hotelindo. The investment value per room is around Rp 200 million to Rp 300 million.

Based on its observations, five out of the 24 hotels of the same level around Jaksa Street have an occupancy rate of 60 percent to 65 percent this month. However, PT Dafam Hotel dares to target a higher occupancy of up to 71 percent for Dafam Express. It also plans to open another Dafam Express in Purwokerto, Central Java, which is currently under construction.
