TBIG Offers Notes to Spur 4G Networks
Telecommunication tower company PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk plans to issue notes to meet the expansion capital, both organically and inorganically, targeting to reap US$ 650 million with the issuance on the Singapore Stock Exchange. The TBIG stock-coded company’s Director Helmy Yusman Santoso told Kontan, the issuance of notes is to seek low-cost funds for refinancing while speeding up loan repayments. The notes have a tenor of 10 years at the most, with a maximum coupon of six percent per year.
Using the notes issuance proceeds, TBIG's plans organic expansion to provide build-to-suit and collocation service telecommunications tower, offering services ranging from network planning, land acquisition and licensing, infrastructure design and construction, and network installation and project management for telecommunication towers, as well as distributed antenna systems (DAS). The company also plans network deployment and expansion programs, as well as site operations and maintenance during the infrastructure lease period. TBIG seeks to build 3,000 towers and more than 20,000 km of fiber optic networks this year.
