Financial Services Authority (OJK) issued a license for equity crowdfunding, or the online offering of private companies’ securities, to Sleman, Yogyakarta-based PT Santara Daya Inspiratama under the electronic system name of Santara (www.santara.co.id). With the operating license, Santara becomes the first equity crowdfunding operators approved by OJK.

This license for Santara is based on Financial Services Authority (OJK)’s Board of Commissioners Number: KEP-59/D.04 on the business license for equity crowdfunding provider issued in early September 2019. OJK oversees and regulates equity crowdfunding business activities to provide legal certainty and protection for parties involved in the business.
