Footwear producers are spurring production capacity to meet the demands in the sports shoe export market. Among those companies are PT Parkland World Indonesia, PT KMK Global Sports, and PT Sumber Masanda Jaya, according to the Industry Ministry's’ data.

Parkland and KMK Global produce several brands of sports shoes, such as Adidas, Converse, and Nike, while Sumber Masanda Jaya produces shoe components for several brands. The production capacity of the domestic footwear industry will increase with the three producers’ expansion, thus potentially widen the export market.
