GOOD to Further Improve Beverage Sales
The promising sales of chocolate beverage in a small sealed plastic bag (sachet) have forced PT Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Tbk (GOOD) to improve its products in the market. The food and beverage producer does not shy away from fierce competition by pushing the sales of Chocolatos and Clevo for ready to drink segment.
Garudafood Putra Putri Jaya Corporate Communication Head Dian Astriana revealed that the prospect of ready to drink products, especially the chocolate-based beverages, were increasing. The snack segment raised quite a bit from last year’s Rp 3.49 trillion to a 4.5 percent year-on-year increase. At the same time, the beverage segment successfully reached a double-digit growth at 15.2 percent.
