Garuda, Sriwijaya Reconcile as Partnership Resumed

Summary

Garuda Indonesia and Sriwijaya Air agreed to resume cooperation after the two domestic airlines were involved in a dispute. Four partnerships were agreed, namely, in aspects of flight operations, aircraft maintenance, spare parts supplies, and aircraft operations support services.

Sriwijaya agreed to work with several Garuda Indonesia subsidiaries, such as Citilink Indonesia, Garuda Maintenance Facility (GMF) AeroAsia, and Gapura Angkasa. This agreement became a new round of the Garuda-Sriwijaya Air partnership after signing management cooperation (KSM) on November 19, 2018.
