Jakarta’s Eastern Regions: New Upscale Property Areas

The eastern regions of Jakarta such as Bekasi, Cikarang, and Karawang will become upscale property areas. The land prices may soar after six developers working on specific projects that had shifted the region's image of industrial regions to classy housing, as supported by a complete infrastructure.

Six property developers, consisting of Lippo Group, Jababeka Group, Summarecon Agung, Pollux Properti Indonesia, Vasanta Innopark, and PP Properti established a forum named the Eastern Jakarta Corridor Committee. The committee will compile and develop integrated projects, including the integration of facilities to be built and joint marketing. In addition to the industrial estate, developers will build premium-class residences that have high investment value.
