Why East Ventures is the Best in Southeast Asia?

East Ventures has been named the largest venture capital (VC) in Southeast Asia by market research firm Preqin. East Ventures is also included in the list of the best and most consistent VC in the world. Based on the Preqin report, East Ventures has supported more than 300 startups, including two Indonesian unicorn startups Tokopedia and Traveloka.

The total investment funds managed by East Ventures in the last ten years reached US$ 135 million as of September 2018. Referring to the 2019 e-Conomy SEA report, East Ventures Co-Founder and Managing Partner Wilson Cuaca said startups in the company’s investment portfolios contributed more than 50 percent of the total Internet economy in Indonesia.
