PT Visionet Internasional (OVO) officially got a new status: Unicorn. The prestigious status confirmed by the Communications and Information Minister Rudiantara. Based on CB Insights' latest report, The Global Unicorn Club, OVO valuation reached more than US$ 1 billion in March 2019. At that time, OVO valued at US$ 2.9 billion.

In the first half of 2019, OVO dominated the digital payment market, amounting to 37 percent market share or Rp 20.8 trillion from the total of Rp 56.1 trillion. OVO claims that they have more than 500.000 partners in more than 300 cities in Indonesia. They also stated that OVO users grew by 400 percent in 2018 compared to 2017.
